The creation of our products proceeded in a very unexpected way…
Sylvie: in early May of 2010, I had breakfast with my friend Nicole. She proposed a challenge that consisted of writing 365 messages of Gratitude in both French and English in only one week! If I had let myself be impressed by the short amount of time, I would not have done it… but, I said to myself… “What do I do have to lose?” And I started to let the grace of the Essence of Gratitude run through me and I succeeded in writing them in French. Then, Angie, my friend and associate translated them into English and voilà… the challenge was won! When we do not get in the way of our achievements, they appear naturally and easily. This gave birth to our 365 messages of Gratitude Box.
When I completed my work, I met with Nicole again and I was very happy to have lived this experience… I had learned to let go and to connect to the Essence of Gratitude. Nicole then asked me a question… she said to me: “Sylvie, why Gratitude? Explain it to me… tell me the story behind Gratitude in your life”.
Later in our conversation, she added to be certain that I understood her thoughts well… “Separate Gratitude in different spheres…” Wow! I had goose bumps all over my arms because I had just studied the power of the sphere in sacred geometry. When she saw my reaction, she had goose bumps herself and said to me: “I do not know why I used the word Sphere because it is not part of my usual vocabulary.” But I understood the message and it touched the deepest part of my being.
Upon returning home that day, I took paper and pen and the Seven Spheres of Gratitude were born… they were written through me, one after the other:
During the summer which followed, in August 2010, I let myself bathe in the energy and the vibration of the Essence of Gratitude making myself available to write my book Gratitude in Action – Actions of Gratitude: the egg or the hen? I am really proud of this work because it will be possible for the Essence of Gratitude to travel and touch the hearts of its readers.
Angie: To accompany this book, we created a superb journal to help everyone develop and cultivate Gratitude in their lives.
Sylvie: To take time, even for a short moment to write in my journal was so beneficial to me that I am happy now to pay it forward and allow others to benefit from it as well. And to decorate this journal, what could be better than a jewel in the form of a bungee bookmark which is the symbol of the Essence of Gratitude! A true work of art!
Sylvie: As a child, I never believed that I was creative because when I was young, for me, creativity was expressed through my friend who had mastered the art of the drawing with such ease! And for me, I must say that it was never a natural talent for me.
However, I learned that creativity could be expressed various ways when I conceived the Essence of Gratitude Mandala. I am looking at it as I write these lines and I admire its beauty, its elegance, its grace and its beneficial energy. I colored it, and I placed the Spheres of Gratitude stickers on it whose purpose are explained in my book and which I will speak to you later on about it here and on our Facebook page.
And finally, I placed the Essence of Gratitude Mandala in an ornate frame which raises its beauty and its value. I am really happy to present it to you!
Angie: Each day the process became more interesting. One day as we were speaking I felt that we should have something visual to remind us to express our Gratitude with the Seven Spheres of Gratitude… I shared my idea with Sylvie and the Spheres of Gratitude Box in Origami was created.
Sylvie: I had the desire to infuse the energy of the Essence of Gratitude to the water I drink daily as with my Sacred Space where I am currently writing to you; this gave life to our Electrostatic Essence of Gratitude Vignettes. These labels are placed on my pitcher of water and my glass as well I have placed them on my window panes of my splendid office, my kitchen, my dining room and even my living room!
